I’m Dan Smart, a 35 year old website developer, based in Swansea, UK. I have worked in the software development industry for over 13 years, with experience in web development, mobile handset development, and mobile networks. I work both on websites and web applications with systems such as Wordpress, Joomla, and CodeIgniter, and mobile app development with PhoneGap, iOS, and Android.
When I’m not developing websites and software, I am a keen runner, involved with mime performance group Innovo Physical Theatre, and also actively involved in my local church.
Brief:
Implement media-rich corporate website for sports data company. I was given the design, and implemented it in WordPress. Outsourced from Coreware Ltd.
Features:
Developed using WordPress as a CMS, with all the pages modifiable using the WordPress rich text editor in the admin section.
Video included in some pages, with a custom video selector developed using JQuery. Client-side Contact form validation using JQuery.
